On Saturday night I got a little artsy fartsy and put this little Christmas decoration together. The twig was broken off from a branch of pine leaves I had bought from the flower market a week ago (see picture of pine leaves paired with the red berries below). The pine cone was picked up on a hike along the trails. For an extra touch and a rustic feel, I added a sprig eucalyptus leaf, cinnamon bark and tied it all together with jute string.

I like making things and thinking of ways to upcycle materials. It’s fun to use my hands and tap my creativity. Now that I have more free time with no school in the picture, I want to set some creative projects for myself! 🙂
