an afternoon of good taste
WINE-TASTING WITH 3-COURSE GOURMET LUNCH
A memorable afternoon awaits… Embark on a gastronomical adventure with good food, great wine and even better company on Saturday, April 1 at Vis-à-Vis Fine French Dining.
Dinner Party Network is privileged to host a special wine-tasting gourmet lunch, facilitated by a professional wine buyer and taster from Hermitage Wines UK. To compliment the exceptional wine selection, Hermitage’s wine-tasting expert and Vis-à-Vis have come together to create a customised gourmet menu that will bring out the nuances and enhance the flavors of both the food and wine. The tasting session will be casual and interactive. You’ll get to mingle with the other guests; learn how to select and evaluate different types of wine; and enjoy the charming, relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant.

WINE-TASTING MENU
Carraudes Lafite 1997
The much sought-after Carraudes Lafite leaves you with one of the greatest taste experiences the world has to offer. Enjoy soft, cedary, savoury fruit, followed by a medium bodied spicy
wine with good character, depth, and light tannins. The finish is long, lingering and delicious. Truly a superb wine, truly Lafite in style.
Colombelle White 2005
Fresh and intense aromas, with floral and exotic fruit notes. Accompanied by flavours of pineapple and white peach, giving a tasty balance and smooth finish. Refreshing hint of lime at the end.
Elderton Friends Shiraz
This wine starts off seductively earthy, then explodes into a glorious rush of crushed berries and chocolate, leaving trails of plums and vanilla on the tongue. The small percentage of Mataro (also known as Mourvedre) gives the wine a silky taste and texture.
Jacky Renard Petit Chablis
A light and steely Chablis with aromas of citrus fruit.
The palate is delicate with white peach and a lemon sherbet finish.
Dessert Wine Pairing
Dow's or Graham Vintage Port 1975/1977
Elderton Botrytis Semillon
*** Wine list is subject to last-minute changes, depending on how cooperative the grapes are.
