Knick Knacks

I have this propensity for buying useless stuff when I'm overseas. You'd have thought I'd end up buying lots of clothes in HK, but no, instead I buy all these non-functional stuff below from G.O.D.

G.O.D. Paper Holder

I thought this little black man which serves as a paper holder was so cute that I couldn't resist bringing him home with me. It now sits in one corner of my work cubicle.

G.O.D Plant 1

I thought I needed some greenery in my cubicle and so decided to buy this plant and the one pictured below. The best thing about them is that they're artificial, odourless, and so I don't need to water them! I bought them because they looked so real and was a good size for the office. They now occupy two corners of my work cubicle, making my work space look much more pleasant.

G.O.D. Plant 4

I love visiting lifestyle shops--I always find things I never knew I needed. Heh. I have this compulsion to buy things to furnish my home, room and workspace. I really should stop it though!

hey, i like G.O.D stuff. you can find G.O.D stuff at this lifestyle shop called Anthropology at Holland V. It's above one of the restaurants in the row where NYDC is situated. Love going there to browse :)

You bought the plants from HK? How did u manage to carry it back to Sin? ;-)

I can understand your compulsion to buy things... I'm crazy for kitchen utensils lately, I bought so many stuff and I only manage to use half of them... hee!

Piggy: Oh, the plants were really light! I just put them in a paper bag and hand-carried them back. :)

What's G.O.D. stuff? Heheh, I'm glad to hear it's not just me who has a compulsion to buy stuff that I don't really need. Tokyo Hands in Japan has a lot of that. They make all these officey things look really cool.

G.O.D is a lifestyle shop that's from Hong Kong. I love their stuff and will make my pilgrimage there to pay homage every time I'm there. heehee.

oh, i bought postcards from there too! But i sent it all out to friends while i was there and didn't keep any for myself. I think i should start my own photo anthology on the scenes of HK.
