Wok

An apt article and poem (below) to complement this photo of mine.

Fire and Ice

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

~ Robert Frost (1876 - 1963)

I've always love poems which i can understand .. and Frost's poems are one of those. I think "The Road Less Travelled" remained as one of those which i like.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
and sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveller, long I stood
and looked down one as far as I could
to where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
and having perhaps the better claim,
because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
in leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
and that has made all the difference.

doll: Yeah, The Road Less Travelled is one of my favourites too. And yeah, I love Frost's poems precisely because of the reason you cited. Some poems just leave you going "huh?", but Frost's poems are simple yet so lovely.
