Let Sleeping Dogs Lie

Pepe, my poodle, getting all comfy lying on my mum's tummy. For some bizarre reason, he got all clingy on Sunday. My mum and I were watching TV, and he comes along insisting on being placed on my mum's lap. When my mum got up from the sofa, he promptly trotted over to me and insisted on climbing onto my lap! Couldn't possibly reject him. He's a sweetie.

Awww... that's so sweet!!!
I've always wanted 1 of those pics.. the black and white, soft-focus, sleeping on owner's tummy pic...
Have you seen the Tiffany ad with a big poodle standing on its hind legs peering through a Tiffany shop window? That's a priceless photo...
heee... pepe! give him a wee cuddle from me won't you dsd? and one for rex too!
Woof!: No, haven't seen that ad. Actually, this photo that i took on Sunday is a bad one technically speaking. The focus was wrong. But you have since made it sound all quite right by saying it's of "soft-focus". :p
tiggie: Yes, will give both of them a hug for you! But you should come and give them one yourself when you're back next week!
Your white balance is wrong
yup i will come and visit them! and tell them to be nice to f if he comes and visit too because he's scared of live furry things that bark too much.
it's a black and white photo. I don't think white balance will affect it. =_="
But I have to say the framing is not very good. I can't tell whether the dog sleeps on a big belly or pillow.
However, it's better than your food photos.
Add something.
I do enjoy photography. I critisize every photo i see, so I know how to improve myself. Hope you won't get mad at me.
For above photo, I would shoot in a different angle. I would shoot directly facing the chair using a zooming lens with big aperture. The focus would be still on the dog, so the person will be a nice defocused background.
What do you think?
DSD, Hope he tasted good (you always seem to photograph things before you eat them)!
ross: Very funny...
