Ondeh Ondeh
My dessert of the day -- Ondeh Ondeh
This is one of my favourite Nonya kuehs (a Malay word for sweet cakes). Usually it's green 'cos of the pandan, but the one I ate today was orange-brown. If I'm not wrong it's 'cos this one was sweet potato instead. Inside however was the same--brown fragrant gula melaka which spills out the moment you bite into the round ball coated with coconut shavings. Yummy!
