I suppose now's as good a time as any other to say that I've just resigned from my present job. I'll be moving on to a publishing firm to be an editor for English language textbooks for non-native speakers. So, it's going to be directly related to what I studied.
It's funny how timing and luck comes into play at times. I never went looking for this job. It quite literally, fell onto my lap. I got an offer I couldn't refuse in terms of renumeration and the opportunities it presented. Anyway, this time I owe monoceros a treat!
I'm looking foward to starting work on Jul 5. I'm now serving out my notice at my present job. I tendered my resignation yesterday and thankfully it didn't go as badly as I had thought it would be.
Anyway, I have a short break between the last day of work of my present job and Jul 5. And so I've decided that I'll be making a short visit to Sydney! I booked my ticket last night and I'll be in Sydney for a week! Whoohoo!
