Adrenalin-High

After teaching yesterday, I rushed to Chinatown to meet up with Chungking, UrbanNomad and Saz where I showed my visitors around. After which, I left the guys and went off to have dinner with a group of girlfriends. One of the gals is leaving for Edinburgh on a working holiday visa so it was a farewell dinner.

I love meeting up with this group of friends 'cos unlike the rest of people our age, we are not talking about registering our marriages in order to buy a HDB flat. Haha.

We had French crepes for dinner. The savoury ones weren't fantastic but the sweet crepes were good. I tried their homemade chocolate and ginger ice-cream. Oh, the two flavours are to-die-for! The chocolate was smooth and rich, with chocolate flakes in it. The ginger had a mild ginger taste with ginger bits in it. Heavenly.

After dinner, I left my group of girlfriends to meet up with my visitors from HK. We headed to Zouk for a bit of clubbing. Gosh, the last time I stepped into Zouk was a few years ago. Suddenly, everyone's so young. But it was pretty good to do this clubbing thing after so long. The last so-called outing of such sorts for me was in Sydney at Otiose's birthday party. But even that doesn't count 'cos Chungking and I just sat in a corner for a short while (we were people-watching) before we left with Monkey for Oxford Street. Anyway, I had fun last night.

And now, I've just returned from yumcha with Chungking, UN and Saz. Can't possibly let them leave without having dimsum with the DSD. Haha. I dropped them off at the Esplanade after lunch while I went off to run some errands.

Will have to leave for the airport in a short while to pick up my Japanese friend who's visiting. Then I'll pick Chungking & UN up on the way home - I'm inviting them over for dinner at my place!

It's as if I'm trying to have all the fun I can have over the last weekend before I start work! Haha! I don't think I've been so busy over one weekend in such a long time! But it's good! I really needed this - I'm on an adrenalin-high!

Yipee!

Have fun for the rest of us, too, while you're at it. :-D

Miss you guys.

Did you find Zouk quite a poser's place? This is in comparison to another club I went to in Singapore, Bar None (yes, quality name :))
