100th Edition
Went to the factory outlets today at Birkenhead point intending to shop till I drop. But none of the clothes there caught my eye, which I suppose is good for my bank balance. I left Birkenhead only with a travel toiletries bag which I got at half price from the outdoor accessories specialist Kathmandu.
As I was walking to the train station today, I noticed that there seems to be this obsession with the Agapanthus plant. Every garden seems to have them in the garden and many sidewalks along the roads are lined with them. Below's the Agapanthus in my garden.
Agapanthus flowers come in white as well but there seems to be more purple ones around. Together with the jacarandas, the city of Sydney is awashed with purple in summer. Speaking of summer, today marks the first day of summer! However cloudy skies and rain ruled today - quite unlike the scorching temperatures characteristic of Australian summers.

Happy Anniversary! I stopped counting ages ago.
I know what you mean about not finding anything at the shops... frustrating isn't it? But it's good that we're not obsessive compulsive shopaholics!
