The yumcha session was as usual very enjoyable, and it was made more enjoyable with the attendance of Joe's friend Louise whom Adrian and I met at Joe's farewell party on Saturday. Louise's such a lovely girl and the four of us had such a wonderful time hanging out with each other.
After yumcha, I went for a haircut. Snip snip snip. I've such thick hair that so much of it gets cut off despite it being so short. My head feels much lighter now.
When I got home for dinner, I was to be flooded by presents from Singapore. First, I received a book and a card from my dear friend Sharlene. She sent me a cute Chinese pictorial book titled <<月亮忘记了>>. Translated into English it means "The Moon Has Forgotten". It looks so interesting and it's been ages since I last read a Chinese book. This is a good place to start! Thanks Shar! I really like it!
My uncle returned from a business trip to Singapore today, and he brought back the digital camera my family got for me and the MAC foundation which I asked my sis to get for me as I was running out of it. Many thanks to my family!
What really threw me though, was the Nokia 6610 phone which my uncle passed to me. It was a gift from my sis. I was speechless when I saw what it was. Thanks a million!!!!!!!!! That's so sweet. You see, the mobile phone I have been using is jurassic and I just haven't bothered to change it 'cos I didn't want to spend a couple of hundred dollars on another one. But this is really great. I am very touched. Thank you so much Sis!
So now I have two new toys. I feel like a kid now. :)

Hey Joan,
the guy who wrote the Chinese book that your friend gave you is the author and illustrator of Turn Left Turn Right, Desiree's fave. =) The movie came out recently in Singapore. I have both books - even though my Chinese is terrible. But I can understand most of it. Also, I have the 6610 too! Is your cover silver?
Yeah, it was such a lovely surprise!
My phone cover is white. :)
